– Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment – Schedule patient appointments and manage front desk activities – Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries – Take vital signs and perform clinical tasks such as drawing blood and administering vaccines – Support clinical staff with additional clinical tasks and procedures as needed – Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems – Foster positive relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team – Support health education initiatives and outreach efforts within the practice
– Minimum of one year of medical assistant experience, including externship – Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and electronic medical records (EMR) systems – Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment – Computer literacy relevant to clinical documentation and scheduling
– Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred – Experience in a clinical setting caring for patients aged 6+ – Ability to perform fee collection and support dispensing functions – Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays in August, September, and October – Passion for health education, outreach, and making a positive difference in patient lives – Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
